About

The DFW Private Equity Forum is an association of private equity investment firms that has served North Texas for more than two decades.  The association was formed in 1994 by a handful of prominent members of the North Texas private equity community.  It was created to provide a venue for sharing information and forming relationships among private equity investors that could be leveraged into future investment opportunities.

Since its inception, the Forum has expanded to include over 50 principal investment firms represented by over 350 professionals.  Our member-firms are engaged in buyouts, leveraged recapitalizations, mezzanine debt, turnaround and distressed investing, as well as those in traditional seed, start-up and early stage financings.

We provide our members opportunities to develop stronger personal relationships and exchange information and ideas through a series of sponsored events. In addition, the DFW PEF serves as the principal financial sponsor of The Erin Tierney Kramp Encouragement Foundation, which provides community college scholarships to students based upon their courage and perseverance in the face of adversity.

We invite you to become a member of our organization today.
